Persuasion maps

I was learning how to write a persuasion text. Now I know that I need to give lots of reasons to back up my opinion to convince somebody.

Telling the time to 5 minutes

I was learning to tell the time. I know that the long hand is the minute hand the short hand is the hour the one that is moving is the second hand. It was tricky because I got trouble on the numbers because I thought where it points to the one it is one minute on my tens and ones.

I was learning to look for non-fiction features text.  Now I know a diagram is a picture with labels.  It was easy to identify the different features because all I had to do was remember them and look in the book.

I was learning to use direct speech.    Now I know where to put direct speech it is in a sentence that the character is speaking.

I was learning to understand multiplication.  Now I know it's not read as 5 times 2, but 5 groups of 2.      It was tricky because to add numbers in each group.

We were describing Red Riding Hood by using a picture.

Reflection
I was learning to use onomatopoeia I know where to put my hook.  It goes at the beginning of the story and it is a kind of sound.  It was tricky for me to remember where my onomatopoeia goes.

Making inferences

I was learning to make inferences. Now I know an inference is clues to figure out how the characters are like.  It was a bit tricky to make inferences because it was hard to find the clues.

I was learning to understand multiplication now I know it's not read as 5 times 2 but 5 groups of 2.  It was a bit tricky, because it was hard for me to add the numbers using repeated addition.
