My Reflection

I this activity I had been learning about narratives and now I am writing my own narrative, this has been an amazing experience and writing a narrative has made me obsessed about writing stories.
I found this tricky because I had trouble thinking of what to write next even my creative vision could not help me.
My next steps are to find out what I want to write about next more quickly.

Wonder - poster creator

My Reflection

In this activity I had to create a poster about me.

I found this tricky because I had not done most of this stuff before or because I wasn't paying attention.

My next steps are to pay attention and lead my way out of misery.

Moment in Time

My Reflection I have been learning about how to write a moment in time. I found this easy because I have a good holiday memory system and I love writing so I was on a dash.
Something I could do to improve my writing is not write in the basic ideas.
My next steps are to be a little more creative about the a time in the holidays, a day at a beach is a super basic idea.

Wonder - Making a prediction

My Reflection

In this activity I had to make a justified prediction on what happens in the story and a few other stuff.
I found this easy because I did this with holes and I had other thing to help me such as a obvious trailer.
My next steps are to write a longer paragraph and put in more keywords.

Matariki poster

My Reflection

In this activity I had to create a Matariki poster on poster my wall and this actually a lot of fun we got to make a poster how we wanted it to look but there were some places we could not go to so that was a bummer.
I found this hard because I didn't remember a thing

My Speech 2019

My Reflection

In this activity I had to come up with a topic for a speech and make as long as in between 2:30 to 3:00 minutes.
I found this tricky because I have not been doing persuasive writing in a long time.
My next steps are to put my figure of speech in there and try best not to be distracted by anything or anyone.

Decimal place value

My Reflection

In this activity I had to order decimals and write the value of the underlined digits.
I found this tricky because every time I tried to learn it gets complicated but the ordering was easy because when I saw the numbers it reminded me of the number line tenths,hundreds, and thousandths.
My next steps are to try and find the easy way of learning decimals it almost took forever for me to finish it. 

WALT summarise a fiction text

My Reflection

I am learning to summarise and and write it in our own words bonus make my beggining 2-3 sentences but that was a little hard.
In this activity I had to research a story about Maui the giant Ika (Fish/stingray) and it's basically summarising  but we had to rewrite the story in our own words.
I found this easy because there wasn't any little bits and details and all that stuff the only thing hard was the desperate cries of help from Sebastian.
My next step is to write it in my own words seriously mostly it is like a replica of how the author wrote it.

My Reflection

In this activity I had to fill in the blank lines with answers to the questions, it was kind of hard but I got over it real fast and found it fun, well there were orange hints but I thought I did´t need them but I totally did.
My next steps are to use the clues when I need them and not to be a twit and think I'm some kind of superhero and finish it in a flash like the flash.
I found this a bit in the middle because some of the questions are easy and some were hard but it was mostly easy.

Information Reports

My Reflection

In this activity Me and my class had each a city and we had to study and write a information report about them, my city was Whangarei and I have to be honest it was pretty fun we had to write some subjects and mine was population, famous landmarks, history.
I found this easy because I'm totally used to these "research" activities and also I had help maybe a little bit okay a lot.
My next step is to find a little bit of help and the rest I have to do it myself and to make more facts and more information.

Holes-Making a prediction

My Reflection
In this activity I had to make a prediction about what the story "holes" and type it down and that was a super,very fun blast and we also had to highlight the most,most important bits in the blurb of the book. I found this easy because you know I did one of these before and besides, I was so,so,so,so and so relaxed like in the Himalayas.

Using Prior Knowledge to Understand the Text

My Reflection

I was learning to respond to a text using my prior knowledge and experience.
I found this easy because  I am good at these prior knowledge activity es  I've done them before and those other times were a huge success.
My next steps are to finish the whole thing instead of forgetting some parts and leaving them out.

Identify and describe what the author wanted me to feel, think about or see

My Reflection

I am learning to say what the author wanted me to say by reading the book finding the key information and writing (  I mean typing) that information in.
I found this easy because when I started the activity I was already a dinosaur geek and most of the stuff and information I knew so there you have it that's why I found it easy.
My next steps are to try to learn something next time and also try and also help someone with no information about dinosaurs I know,I know I didn't say that (type that) but it's still my next step.

Identifying parts of a graph

 
My Reflection
I have been learning to identify parts of a graph, I had to find the correct labels and drag them to the correct places.
I found this tricky because I didn't know all parts of a graph besides I forget stuff easy.
My next step is to try to remember stuff more easily and also learn all parts of a graph.

Summarising information

Reflection I am learning to summaries information in the activity I had to find a famous NZ'er and me and my buddy Hannah chose jacinda adern.
In this activity I had to pick a famous new zealander with my buddy  summaries the information and write into the correct information.
I found this easy because I'm a good summariser and I had a little bit of help from my buddy.
